Count a KYC delay from the latest complete submission that the casino records as received, not from the day you opened the account. First check three facts: whether the status still says pending, whether the casino shows a submission record, and whether it has asked for another document or account detail. A pending check can mean that the casino has not received a complete file, that it needs more evidence, or that the KYC team has not made a decision. Do not upload replacements at random. Ask the casino to identify the open requirement and confirm that it received your latest submission.

Only the casino’s KYC or compliance team can complete the check. Support can locate the case, confirm the upload route, and request an update. It cannot guarantee a decision or set a universal completion date.

Confirm that your verification is pending

Use this page when the account shows pending, submitted, or processing. These labels mean the casino has not made a final KYC decision. They do not tell you whether the casino has the complete evidence it needs.

Status in the accountWhat it meansNext step
Pending, submitted, processingThe casino has not issued a final KYC decision.Establish whether it received a complete submission.
Failed, rejected, declinedThe casino did not accept a KYC document or check.Read casino verification failed.

If you cannot receive a verification link, email, or SMS code, use casino verification email not received or casino SMS verification code not received. A missing code prevents you from completing KYC; it is not a pending submitted case.

Establish the last complete submission

A file can be uploaded without forming a complete submission. Start with the account verification area, not your phone gallery. Look for the document type, the date of the last upload, a file thumbnail, a submission reference, and any note next to the record.

Swipe or scroll horizontally to view the full table.

Pending-case stateWhat you can verifyNext action
No upload recordThe casino does not show the required file or a submission reference.Upload the same required document once through the secure account page and save the confirmation.
Upload record, but a request is openThe casino received a file but needs a missing page, another document, or clarification.Follow the specific request. Do not substitute a different document.
Upload record and no stated requestThe casino shows a submission but has not named an outstanding item.Ask the KYC team for a written status update and the open requirement.

An upload screen that closes without an error does not prove receipt. A photo saved on your phone does not prove that the casino received the file. If the account shows no record, submit the same required document once through the casino’s official secure page. Save a screenshot of the confirmation or reference number.

Do not email identity documents to an address found in a forum, social-media message, or unsolicited email. Use the upload route inside the casino account. Do not send passwords, full card numbers, one-time codes, or banking credentials.

Find the open requirement before you upload again

A pending label often hides one unfinished step. Check the account inbox, your registered email address, and the spam folder. A support reply may say “verification is pending” while a separate message asks for a specific document, statement page, or account correction.

Read each request in full. Identify the exact document, the required page or fields, and the accepted upload method. If the casino does not specify what is missing, ask it to repeat the requirement through the secure account inbox or your registered email. Do not guess which extra document might help.

Check profile data that can block an automated match

Compare the casino profile with the documents you submitted: legal name, date of birth, country, and residential address. A spelling difference, old address, name change, or incorrect country can prevent an automated match and lead to a manual review.

Ask how to correct the existing profile before you upload documents that use different details. The casino may request a supporting record before it changes a locked field. Do not open a second account to correct an error. Duplicate accounts can create a separate compliance issue.

Check whether the casino needs a different kind of proof

The casino may have received your ID but still need a proof of address or payment-method ownership record. Use the document type it requested for the fact it needs to confirm. A bank statement may support an address or account ownership, but it may not replace an identity document.

If the casino asks for proof of a card, bank account, or e-wallet, submit only evidence for a payment method in your name. A bank or payment provider can issue its own record, but only the casino can decide whether it meets the KYC requirement.

What not to do while KYC remains pending

Keep the case easy to review. Do not submit the same document through several channels, delete an existing request, or send several messages with different explanations. One clear submission and one written status request give the KYC team a usable record.

Do not crop, edit, or alter a document to fit an upload field. If the file is too large or uses an unsupported format, ask the casino which format it accepts. An edited file can create an authenticity concern even when the original document is valid.

Do not create another casino account while the first account has an unresolved KYC case. Keep your account details unchanged unless the casino tells you to correct them.

Ask the casino for a written KYC status update

Contact support only after you have checked the account record and inbox. Ask it to route the request to the KYC or compliance team. The useful questions are whether the latest submission is recorded as received and which requirement, if any, remains outstanding.

IssueWhat you can confirm or provideWhat the casino must decide
Submission receiptThe upload record, date, and confirmation reference.Whether it received a complete submission.
Missing evidenceThe document or profile detail named in the request.Whether the evidence proves the required fact.
Profile mismatchThe mismatch and the supporting record for a correction.Whether and how it will update locked account data.
Payment-method ownershipA record from the relevant bank or e-wallet provider.Whether the record proves ownership for KYC.
Pending status without explanationA written request for the open requirement and case number. The final KYC decision and any additional evidence needed.

Live chat can record your request and show the correct secure route. It cannot approve KYC, overrule a compliance decision, or promise the date when a review will end.

When a pending KYC case should become a formal complaint

Do not escalate because a generic timeframe has passed. There is no universal completion period for document checks. Escalate when the casino cannot confirm receipt of a documented submission, will not identify the outstanding requirement after a written request, or gives repeated generic replies without explaining the next step.

Start with the casino’s published support and complaints process. Ask for a written explanation, confirmation of receipt, or the exact evidence needed to complete the case. Do not ask support to guarantee approval or a completion date that it cannot control.

Include a concise timeline:

  • your account email or username
  • the date and secure route of each submission
  • upload confirmations or references
  • screenshots of the pending status
  • any request for further documents
  • the support ticket or case number
  • the specific result you request, such as confirmation of receipt or identification of the open requirement

For Great Britain-licensed remote operators, the UK Gambling Commission says that ID checks can take longer when an operator needs documents rather than an electronic match, and it does not provide one universal completion period. The Commission also says customers should first complain directly to the gambling business about issues including ID verification. Read its complaints guidance.

These rules apply to Great Britain-licensed operators. For another market, check the licence details and complaints route in the casino’s own terms. If the operator rejects your documents, use casino verification failed. If it restricts the wider account, use casino account under review.

FAQ

How long should casino verification take?

There is no universal timeframe. The relevant question is whether the casino records a complete submission and names any outstanding requirement. Ask for those two facts before you judge the case by the calendar alone.

What counts as a complete KYC submission?

The casino should show a record that it received the required document through its secure route. It may still need another item, such as an address statement or proof of payment-method ownership, before it can make a final decision.

Should I upload my documents again if verification is still pending?

Upload again only when the casino asks for a replacement or when the account shows no record of the first upload. Repeated submissions can create duplicate records without resolving the open requirement.

Why is KYC pending after I passed a selfie check?

A successful selfie can cover only the live-match step. The casino may still need to confirm your identity, address, payment-method ownership, or account details.

Can live chat speed up my verification?

Live chat can request a status update and route the case to the KYC team. It cannot guarantee a decision or make the compliance decision itself.

Does pending KYC mean the casino will reject my account?

No. Pending means the casino has not made a final decision. Ask it to name the open requirement instead of assuming the outcome.
